    The last two rolls didn't give me much. No V or such.
    Did find a few cleaner than what I had coins.
    Pennies tomorrow.

    I don't have a pic right now, but a couple months ago when I first started coin roll hunting I found a euro coin and an old Canadian penny in the same penny roll. I was like "Jackpot!" Ok money wise not worth much lol, but it's fun to find them in penny rolls ^.^

    Went to the second bank in town again.
    Got two MWR quarter rolls, five CWR nickels and five CWR pennies. Was just into the first roll of quarters when I checked email and came here to see what's going on.

    Not a roll find...But while I was dumping yesterday's halves this morning, the branch manager came over and asked if she could buy $50 worth of halves from me for another member. I told her that they probably wouldn't want them since they had been searched. She told me that they were for an older woman who wanted to give them to her grandkids. I said sure why not and we counted out $50 while I finished my dump. No biggie...
    As I was getting my cash at the teller window, the manager came up and handed me a 64D and a 67 Kennedy. She said "I think you might like these... ;)" She was right! She said she had pulled them out of the inside of the coin counter and was just holding on to them. So I got half an ounce of silver for free. I've never gotten anything from a teller before.

    Finished 2 boxes of nickels. Kinda slim pickings but it was still fun. Ended up with 1 Buff, 1 War, 2x09s, 2x Can, 1 UK 20p, and 1 5c Euro.

    Back in Brooklyn for a little coin searching adventure (not my actual reason for going).
    Stopped at 3 banks, only one had halves.
    4 dollars in halves- 1 67, 3 68D, 3 69D.
    I'm happy because I've been in a little skunk streak. Though I had to leave the state to find it...

    When I finished quarters I think I found an update and I saved a 2017D Ozark Riverways.
    Nickels finished with one of those rare as just out of the press 65. Maybe a few other updates. Oh yeah a 2005P Buffalo.
    First penny roll gave a fantastic 1989D. If it doesn't replace mine it gets flipped and kept!

    Stopped at 6 banks on my way home from work and scraped up $345 in CWR halves. Looks like a $200 dump plus several tellers at several banks were clearly educated about silver, so my expectations are very low.

    A genuinely nice teller offered to sell me $2000 in halves one customer had brought in. I politely passed on picking up a large volume dump.

    I'll report any remarkable finds here after I search the $345 worth...maybe later this weekend.

    Cheers all!

    Tonight I decided to endure the pain of looking through the $345 in CWR halves plus $250 in MWR halves I had leftover from a previous buy:

    CWRs = 1, 2016P and a '72S (impaired)

    MWRs = 2, 2017P and 2, 2017D (my first 2017 halves)

    Not a total waste of my time, but close :shifty:

    Better luck to everyone!

    Last weeks's results:

    $120 CWR Nickels: 39 (x2), 40, 41, 42-D, 46 (x2), 46-S, 48, 52, 55-D, 56, 56-D, 57-D, 58-D, 59

    $205 CWR Dimes: 1964 Roosie

    I've got $40 in cents to go through this weekend plus whatever I pick up while I'm out running the usual Saturday errands. What a strange hobby we have. ;-)

    Actually I forgot to post about this.
    I was at TD bank the other day and I saw they had a bag of half dollars on the counter in the back. I asked if they sold them to customers and they said no. I thought it was interesting because their coin counter hasn't been operational for a long time, so where'd they get it. I didn't push them to sell to me because I had just dumped a larger amount of coins there. I didn't see any silver from my vantage point so my skin wasn't crawling that I couldn't get it.

    Ace, could be another half searcher deposits their leftovers in bags there.

    I need to start making a list. I went to our bank and got all MWR (almost certainly Loomis). Quarters I think I upgraded two (one for no more than a single blemish near the Eagles head). Looked at one nickel roll. Found a 40D that I thought I needed. But I had one and it was better. Made a note of it on my list. I'm down to looking for a 2008P in great condition, a couple of 2009P, a better 65 and several older pennies.
    Doesn't take long to search at that .

    One nickel and one penny roll to go.
    Got a better 1974D nickel and an upgrade 1970D penny and also got a 1913P penny in good condition.

    Last two rolls didn't give me a thing.
    I would customarily keep a few for the morning.
    But I blew that.

    All rolled coin deposits must be broken down and bagged. $2000 for Dollars, $1000 for half dollar, etc. So when the bank can't have the coins picked up by Loomis, brings etc. Until they have a bagged filled.
