On coins referring to Pudicitia it appears that she is represented while "spitting in her toga". Any idea of the meaning of this attitude ?

No idea, but the title sounded so salaciously naughty somehow, I just had to come look. :p

In my description I have as : Pudicitia seated left, veiled & holding hand on breast. But it does look like she may be sneezing.

Perhaps it is an error of translation or a typo? On your coin she is sitting, in her toga (probably not the correct name of her garment either). She is drawing the veil across her face (or drawing the veil from her face).

    I'm betting it's a translation error.
