Very very nice David. Love the entire coin; obverse and reverse! How do you keep finding these rarities? I'm very happy for you.

 

What a wonderful rarity David and in such great condition. You motivated me to finally photograph my example. A bit worse for wear but when I saw it come up I figured I might never see one for sale again!

Thanks Bing. I would rate this as probably my best worst coin. If I close my eyes, I can imagine how it once looked like David's example!

 

It seems I have plenty like this. Sometimes it's the only way to afford a certain coin. But like someone said in another thread, I do like coins that show some circulation wear. They spark my imagination.

 

so of the 7 known examples, 2 are owned by cointalk members...that's kind of cool.

 

I think mine is unrecorded so the the eighth example. But still not a bad percentage

That is a perfectly acceptable coin Nemo! If you shown it before, somehow I had forgotten while researching my coin. So, now we have 8 examples! Do you recall the year and dealer it was purchased?
