So I have come across this a bunch and didn't know what it meant. I tried to find a definition and can not. Maybe some of our more sophisticated folks here can help me out. What is the "h" unit after grams in this listing for a Vitellius denarius? https://cngcoins.com/Coin.aspx?CoinID=340467
The die axis as in a clock, h = hour. 6h = 6 o'clock. A coin with 6h die axis has coin alignment, ie., if you hold the obverse up and flip the coin horizontally, the reverse will be upside-down. A die axis of 12h is medal alignment. If you flip the coin horizontally, the reverse will be right-side-up.
Man, I thought it was some weird fraction of a gram measurement I wasn't aware of. No wonder I couldn't find it.
