Any option for this coin? Specks of PVC

    It's been in that ANACS SWH for 20 years. So it's pretty stable. But it has been there a long time and may have done permanent damage to the surface.

    Doing anything as well as doing nothing is a throw of the dice.

    If it is a valuable coin, consider sending it in for conservation . If not so valuable, the verdicare approach should work. verdicare is very gentle so when I have used it to remove deposits like that, I would soak it for several hours, then use a thorn or tip of bamboo skewer to gently pick at the verdi. It may be necessary to repeat a few times to get all the green stuff off. There may well be a permanent spot or corrosion underneath it, though.

    What is the date on the cent and what grade is on the holder?
