I'm in the process of "Phoenixing" (bringing back from the metaphorical ashes) my old Commodore 128D 8-bit machine. Why? Because I write some sweet stuff on it and I want to get my algorithms back to use on a more modern platform, and I'm too old to recall all the neatest stuff I wrote. That sweetheart ran in 3 modes, including CP/M 3.0. Have you SEEN what they're getting for used working 128D's on eBay? Way more than I paid, I assure you. All the original disks, manuals, and boxes, too.
