    From my collection - 25C struck on Thick Planchet
    Any guesses on why it was thicker than usual?

    I know. The sheet hat was used to cut the plantchet didn't roll it down enough?

    It's 'rolled thick'

    If it were struck on half dollar stock thickness
    it would weigh 139 to 145 grains.

    6.88 grams = 106 grains.
