Wow, this Fridays laugh of the weekend : http://cgi.ebay.com/BEST-1913-D-PEN...ryZ39456QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem If not for my lack on $$$ I'd win this baby
Haha...what a laugh riot. I guarantee this is the exact same 1913-D Lincoln he bought from another Ebay seller markrobare on August 23, 2007 for $1.75 plus postage ($1.47), He just cleaned it. The story he tells in his auction is nothing but BS. Its a shame that people dont know any better and are actually bidding on this. I should send him a question asking him if its the same one...lol
Never tempt clembo with a question to a seller I say. Here's mine (and I'm quite sincere) "Sorry about the loss of your Papa but actually I have seen much better 1913-D pennies. Will you be selling the rest of this roll as well? I would actually be interested in the end coins. clembo" I'd like to see what kind of "end roll toning" he can come up with.
Well, thats awfully compassionate of you clembo and very polite I might add...lol. Let us know if he answers you. http://www.cosgan.de/images/smilie/verschiedene/d080.gif

I agree that not much is really wrong with that coin except the final price is about double or more of it's value. Slightly cleaned looking but sitting on a window sill for a month or so would make that a really nice looking coin. Naturally due to ebay, it's overpriced.
