Since the give-away of that slabbed coin a couple of weeks ago was a smashing success I thought I'd try it again. This one isn't slabbed, it's a dupondius of Trajan with the reverse of TR P VII IMP IIII COS V PP / SC. My wife is after me again to clean up my desk and get rid of some of my years of accumulation. Even I have to admit it's kind of out of hand. US and Canada only please to cut down on postage costs. Here's the coin: Please let me know if you're interested.
That's dicriminatory practice ! Just kidding, very nice gesture. I like these giveaways between members/friends through the forum, it concurs to a very good ambiance. I'm so sorry I can't participate either way (receiving or giving) for the same reasons of shipping cost/ Q
Exactly my thoughts. I hope some folks don't take it as pretentious. BTW: Made a mistake: The reverse is actually TR POT COS IIII PP / SC
I would love a free piece of history....I've never even held a coin older than my beat up 180_ something half cent(1$bin rescue)...So if you want to send it to a place to be cherished, you found that place...Thanks for the opportunity!
