The real problem is everyone is too politically correct these days. No joking anymore or we are offending someone. Everyone wants an instant answer without getting the point across correctly as to what it is exactly they see, doing no research in advance and worse yet, photos that no one can determine anything by. I miss my youth not because I'm an old codger but simply because they were better times.

People on here enjoy joking somewhat. Many of the coins you have posted look to have what is called PMD or post minting damage, including gouges and possible die chips (the s you see above the date) and rim "dings" where the coin has been dropped as in the Indian cent. If you want to know something, ask questions and tell us what you think something is.

 

And don't tell us that we're wrong when we don't give you the answer you want.

 

Even that might be OK as long as you don't get your feelings hurt and lash out.

 

I'm still trying to determine what "a dine or nickel strick" is (don't be afraid of proof reading your entry before hitting "post", it saves a lot of confusion.)
