#3 is one of my favorites. It's one of the strongest clashed Washington Quarters I have ever seen. I came across it on eBay and the color is what grabbed my attention. I looked at it a little closer and I noticed it had a very strong clash, so I snatched it up.
Was the clash posted in the description or title? I love die clash coins most of mine I've found in circulation or occasional cherry picking I just think they are cool. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
No, the clash was not mentioned at all in the listing. They only mentioned the color. I paid a premium for it, but had it not had the clash, I would have passed on it.
I dunno. They all look fantastic. Only #2 - the 1947-S quarter - looks outclassed here, in terms of eye appeal and not necessarily technical grades, which I'm not prepared to tackle on this whole group. And by that I mean the '47-S quarter is merely nice, while the rest are awesome. The reverse on #3 - that 1948-S quarter - is amazing. Never mind the clash. I love the target toning on that.
I'm going with all but #8 nice group of coins......even though I have any trust in stickers....your eye for coins is proof in itself that there's no need for the stickers.
