Think I did pretty well on these? Apiece, I paid 1.50 for the Indians, 1 for the Liberty nickels, 2.50 for the quarter.

All of the nickels have at least 3 letters visible, four on the 1893 Indian.

Do You realize that the 1893 was probably dug up?

    Good buys.

That's actually why I bought it - I liked the color and the slight contrast the dirt created. It reminds me of my beloved ancients.

Did you get those at D&F ?
Or did you become friends with "Helen" ?

Ardatirion did just fine on that little lot of coins.

He is proud enough to share them with us, it seems disrespectful to me for anyone to be so rude as to say they spent too much on a $9.50 lot. I could say more, but I`m on a nice kick, so I won`t...

Actually, I became acquainted with Helen. But I'd trust them about as far as I could throw them. Lol.

Nothing to be ashamed of, if I overpaid. Go ahead and tell me. Honestly, I bought these because I had a blast going through the bins. I haven't looked through Indian heads in over eight years!

Would you mind telling me what a good price would be? Despite the scans, the Liberty nickels grade VG. The quarter probably MS, and the '09 cent is only G. Obviously, the 1893 isn't worth as much, but I bought it for other reasons.

Assuming all the coins were common, that would be a fair price.....not a bargain, but not too much.

Now, if that Indian cent is an 09, then the whole deal was a rip. They are going for about $10 on their own these days. The 1909 Indians have really gone up the past few years.

Did I fail to mention the Indian? It is indeed an 09! I learned that all from you, Shortgap!
