It would be real interesting to find A DDO, paired with this Buffalo, I doubt that it ever happened though.
@Paddy54 Yeah, I bought some new Jansjo lights and I set the new to me copy stand up. Its been just sitting in the basement for a couple months. Giving a new acquisition a bath, will post in a few. I've only had one Coors Light!
I doubted it too and noticed that it's not a listed variety. I don't know much about buffalos but "Liberty" looked unusual to me compared to these other '38 D/Ds. Yours: Others: I reckon some of you knowledgeable folks know the true reason if not a DDO. Maybe I'm just mistaking the light reflections around the middle of the B and the E for doubling.
When you get it looking like that I see that it is over exposed. And the reason I bought some new lights, in fact four of them. I am excited to learn my new set up. If these aren't the same die pair as the DDO -002 then that could be another reason why.
Try some of these By EVO. A stout called Stand up. OMG really good......and I'm not a stout drinker .
Ok thanks! ...another widely available one to try if you're into the creamy nitro thing is Boddington's pub ale. Has the cream head of a stout but in a lightish golden ale. Guinness remains king of course but it's something different.
Put the last one on Ice! Coors light is the only one I drink after a hot day! Strike -The coin hardly shows any planchet striations, yes it is a later die state and I think that is what they saw when grading. MS66 Luster - this coin is extremely lustrous MS65 or better Eye appeal - Although I like my Buffaloes with a little more toning, this one almost jumped out of the case. It was surrounded by 66 and 67 coins. Contact marks_ there are very few and not many in the focal areas, the hip Bone of the Buffalo Rev shows the most contact on the coin. MS65 I would Grade it as DDDDD said 1 to 1.5 above The slab in todays market. But, overall I think it is a fantastic MS65 OGH 1.2 And DDO-002
I should of said 65 as knew it was in an old rattler and 66 and above in those would be 67 plus coins by today's standards . To my eye it is a 66 pretty coin and yes LDS. Nice pick up
I think it's in a MS-65 PCGS Rattler and it's a D/D RPM-002. It's under graded and might be nice enough to garner a gold bean from CAC. I have one like it at CAC right now.
I have been thinking about some Third party submissions and maybe a couple to CAC, We'll see, I am a procrastinator, Still leery of them leaving my possession. Thanks JT.
