would be nice to know of it is a medusa of not, that would be so nice Aegis is normal medusa for a trajan not
That's a super coin even without the 'Medusa' question. I have no clue whether it is or not but I would've expected to see a hint of the coiled snaked protruding.... I hope someone can help nail this down for you.
There is no question of whether it is an aegis or medusa, as the aegis has the head of medusa on it. The question, is whether it is an aegis or paludamentum (cloak or drapery).
