"Roman Ruler" 1951 franklin half dollar

    Here is a 1951 franklin half dollar i just finished with the subject being a roman ruler..

    outstanding as usual...that was the type I am looking for but I was thinking more like Nero...the possibilities for making a coin from that guys mug in your unique style would be interesting to say the least...

    Nice

    The Franklin makes a very good canvas.
    I am leaning towards having a holding rack with a mount for the coins in clear containers. I will put a map reading dome next to the wood laminated holder for those who like to view the pieces.

    Looks like Claudius to me! Of course, I don't own one in a similar grade, so I can't quite tell. :p

    I totally agree with Drusus, go for a Nero next!

    yeah...to me it looks most like C-C-Claudius
