I found a Canadian Quarter in a Coinstar in HEB. I just don't know exactly where it is at the moment. It was in pretty nice shape.
A grand total of 77c in American change, 37c in Canadian change. And the numismatic finds 1 1932 Lincoln 1 1964-D Dime From four different machines.
My absolute biggest haul ever, volume wise. STAR FIND: 1962 SILVER DIME!!! Great Britain 1 penny X2 Great Britain 5 pence Philippines 10 sentimo Philippines 1 piso Canada 5 cents Israel 1 new shequel Chuck e cheese tokens x4 US 1 cent X5 US 25 cent x5
I have little man on scout. While I'm paying at the register he gives me a knowing look once he sees the machine and storms it on the nod. Sometimes cashiers ask him what he's doing "getting coins for my collection..." they usually give him what they have on top of their register as well. Teach em young.
I went to the grocery store today and decided to check the coin star. I wouldn't say this is my first coin star find because I have found cruddy coins in it before but nothing of significance but I found my fist Silver today along with a steelie and a 1973 Barbados 10 cent coin. The Silver coin is a 1949 Canadian quarter too bad its in such rough shape but silver is silver
Nothing too exciting, the usual garbage in a couple of machines today: Canada 5c 1974 Canada 10c 2014 Korea 100 won 1986 a generic Namco token. The last machine of the day had a jackpot: 40 quarters, dated from 1941-1964, someone must have run the roll through then not checked the slot afterward - And my best coin machine find ever, ever, ever! Note to add - photopucket isn't working
