I'm selling this coin, and it's getting a lot more interest than I expected. I'm wondering if there's something about it I'm not aware of. I know there are varieties for this date but I don't know how to identify them. Any thoughts?
I saw that in the price guide, but if it is, I don't see it. I'm not great at noticing these things though.
Even if it is the overdate variety, it's not possible to identify from the photos. This is somewhat of a better date that even with heavy wear can go for $10 or so. I think it's probably just a couple loyal customers that are following your auctions and maybe not looking at ebay coins in general. That is usually the case with stuff like this
It ended up selling for $10. I saw that the book value was a little higher than the average half penny but it's hard to know how accurate that is, especially since this had some wear.
