    My son says it's probably China - Qing dynasty in early 1800s and fairly common based on characters

    Yes, it's from China. I have a very similar one. Very cool coin but, to my knowledge, not valuable.

    Not really. I don't know what the specific catalog number is, but in general, these coins are worth less than a dollar.
