Nice @chrsmat71 :) it's good to see another one of my ancient coin friends decide to play. If you are okay with me making a suggestion though I think if you have a 1922 to play maybe it would be good to wait just a bit before flipping to 1921 since we've not had much chance to see all that 1922 has to offer from our other members yet :)

Also welcome to the game I can't wait to see if your world collection is as sweet as your ancient one!

Wow. That's the nicest 1922 no D cent I've seen. To think I was going to post a measly VF35 example.

For 1921 I will fall back on my collection of Leprosy colony coins. Here are two Columbia 50 centavo coins dated 1921. Notice that one has the star at 12:00 and the other appears to be missing the star. I've not found this "no star" variety listed in any scholarship. I suppose that it could simply be a filled die error or something.

I love coins like this that you know have an interesting story behind them just by their very existence. Things like these are my favorite area of numismatics.

    So my Japanese coin isn't quite as nice as some of the others being posted on here. 1921 a germany 50 pfennig3.jpg 1921 germany 10 pfennig.jpg 1921 japan 1 sen.jpg 1921 mexico 1 peso.jpg 1921 sweden 2 kroner.jpg
