So I have a few error coins that I like to show. I know they are not that great, but heck it's nice to keep something with an error on it. Wish I could find something nicer but heck. Starting off with the sie chips. Lol yes I like die chips. It's not all that much but I like finding things other people have found. This one you can see the die chip in 1907, and you can see it in 2008. (9&0 in 1907, and the 8 in 2008. Die chips located in date. Homestead quarter leaky bucket Next is die deterioration Next is minor lamination error/die chips. Extra metal everywhere. Next is a dime with a clipped planchet, showing blankelsy effect. Got couple more in comments below
1960 d small date. Next is a dime with mis aligned die strike with the false edge, and major die deterioration on the reverse. Retained and un retained lamination error on the back of 1944 s wheat penny Back of a 1959 d Nickel is a lamination error. Lastly. The 2016 d that I found in new issue rolls with nothing but 2016 d. Not exactly sure what it is. Maybe improper mixing of metals? not exactly sure what is under one cent either.
Oh yeah that's right lol man I am not doing too good on remembering the name for some of these lol I appreciate the corrections

Trick is finding a Canada cent with that kind of back haha. Never found one yet. But I'll be looking for the dot. I only find the 40s dates and older.
I wonder how many people look everyday for that coin on eBay haha. I think I would have a better chance with Craig's list. Just post "looking for 1936 Canada penny" then tell them to post a picture and only take one that has a dot. Lol. Only post it every once in a while so people don't catch on.
There are Lincoln cents from the 60's with chips the size of pencil dots between the digits in the dates.
Interesting info at the bottom of this article about dot cent sales prices. http://nationalpost.com/news/rare-d...0000/wcm/f0486c3c-402b-4f7c-94b8-6ad54f570260
