Cheap Enough For Me

Stopped at the bank to pay my mortgage yesterday and one of tellers asked me if I was interested in half dollars. Had no clue what kind but she brought these out to me. Instead of making an offer I asked how much she wanted for them. Is $3.00 each fair she asked? Sold I said. Two 40% but it all worked out well in the end.

For sure it took the sting out a bit.

 

I'm only seeing 1 40%.

I've gone to my wife's bank to deposit money so she can pay bills and churned up silver also. Kind of takes the sting out of having to pay bills.
