I'd say G6, and yes it is an '06/05.

    IMO it's AG-3.
Stars on the obv. and letters on the rev. are merging into the rim.
With a bit of luck you might get a G-4.

according to Photograde the Bust 1/4 is graded differently from the 1/2 dollar.
wear into the tops of letters is acceptable in a G-4.
So, I'd agree with the G-4.

g-4 imo, nice strong eagle. very little wear into the letters, a pleasing coin.

Your comment leads me to to ask several questions, mainly for my info.

Is Photograde still published? Last date?
If so, does it have GOOD images? (The images in my 1974 printing are of low quality and too small. Brown & Dunn is better.)
Is Photograde still considered an acceptable grading standard?

Although there is no accepted industry-wide grading standard, I thought most people used the ANA Grading Standards.
That's what I was basing my opinion on, and that's what grades are, opinions.

I do agree that once a coin is slabbed that people tend to think the grade is now set in stone, particularly if the slabbing was done by one of the top TPGs.
We know that is not so.

The best pics are in the first edition of Photograde. Yes it is still used by some people. Personally, I always preferred the ANA Guide and I have just about every grading book ever published.

I also think that pictures are the wrong way to go - descriptions are much better in my opinion. Because of the variables involved in grading pictures can be too misleading. Yes, they are good when trying to learn the basics. But once you learn the basics then experience takes over and becomes the dominant factor.

    just wondering

    Thanks for the responses guys.
when i checked this coin in the ANA grading standards
I am seeing it as a VG,does the weakness of the rims on
both sides and a little wear into the letters bring it down to a G
when the other details are a VG.
    Please advise
    Thanks

Thats why most would consider it to be G .The rims are pretty worm out even though the details are better than good. I'm pretty confident that if you submited this coin to NGC or PCGS you would get a G grade. EBAY grade is fine
