I have here what appear to be a coin from yugoslavia, and one from luxembourg. Can anyone tell me what their denominations are, and any additional info as well?
    Thanks.

The Yugoslavian coin should be a dinar (1 Dinar = 100 Para). The coin from Luxembourg will be a euro (1 Euro = 100 Cent) or, if it is an older piece, a franc (1 Franc = 100 Centimes).

Its from 1979, so I guess its a franc. The one from yugoslavia has 50 on the back. So is it 50 para then?

I really hate to burst your bubble Adam, but like virtually every coin-issuing country, both Yugoslavia and Luxembourg have issued coins in multiple denominations.

Would you even consider making the statement "I have here what appear to be a coin from the United States, and one from Canada. Can anyone tell me what their denominations are, and any additional info as well?"

Bottom line, either a picture, or a detailed description of all legends, numbers and letters on each coin is absolutely necessary for correctly determining its denomination, let alone other information such as the catalog number, subject of the design, metallic content, mintage, or catalog value.

I thought chrisild's reply seemed a little vague. Its because I forgot to post the darn pictures.
That should make it possible for someone to ID them
    Thanks in advance!

The Luxembourg 10 Franc is KM#57, nickle, with a 1979 mintage of 1-million. The lowest grade valued in the 20th Century 35th Ed. SCWC is XF, listed at 30¢. That would make yours worth <15¢.

The Yugoslavia 50 Dinara is KM#113, cu-ni-zinc with a 1987 mintage of 21,792,000. VF 10¢, XF 25¢ in that edition.
