    As stated in your other thread, one made minutes apart from this one in the same subforum, what you're seeing is most certainly the result of a hit or like damage.

    Welcome to the forum, Reggie, but please do remember that multiple threads on the same coin are unnecessary.

    The '1' is 'smashed' - hit by something
    there. Not an error.

    These guys are probably right about your 1 taking a hit, but, surely you must know that coin better look much different to your eyes than it does online due to the very poor picture. You do know that, right? The sole picture is out of focus, pixelated and you haven't taken it from directly overhead while withholding a reverse shot.

    You really don't think anyone can see these details you are hoping they can, and with any certainty, do you?

    Frankly, I wouldn't even guess on the 1 and if your in hand inspection has you thinking it is an attributed variety, post a link to it with better pix of what you are seeing.

    The I in Liberty is smashed too,
    but to a lesser degree.

    The coin isn't an error of any type;
    what you see is normal contact marks
    on the coin; in this case, the '1' is
    smashed by a harder contact by something,
    after the coin left the Mint.

    Your photographs fails to convey enough quality data for some people to be willing to make any determinations. It is my opinion, that those you have gotten are likely more hunch from having handled so many than unassumingly drawing conclusions from exactly what you have presented.

    Truth, but, still no cookie.
