Hey guys, I was wondering what the value of the 10 shilling currency is that I received in a trade ? Or in other obvious terms, what can I realistically sell it for ? Fine 12 apparent, severed, tape repairs and backed. Thanks.
In that condition, not a whole lot but you need to check and research the signatures on the reverse. That may add to the value.
You could check with Denly's of Boston. They are very reputable, honest and will answer you. They are online and they deal in specialized currency.
No, what is apparent is you don't know what you are talking about. 12 shillings and 6 pence + 3 shillings and 8 pence = 16 shillings and 2 pence
That math works if you can conclude that is actually a 2 in that 12. looks nothing like the 2 below it. not even magnified does it look like a 2. Now if you use reverse algebra, you can assume, that it should be 12, but looking at it from a cell phone, it has no resemblance.
