Since I'm new here, I thought i might aswell show off a collection that i'm very proud of! I present my USSR 1939 Kopek set:

    What do you guys think?

    First, welcome to the neighborhood!

I'd suggest that you use a pair of pliers to flatten the points of the staples. These pose a great risk of scratching a coin in another 2x2. The mylar window really doesn't provide much protection.

Also, you might want to purchase a flat-cinch stapler. They don't cost much, use standard staples and you can find them in most supply stores like Office Depot or Office Max.

Nice set. Seems like you wanted to assemble a set that's dated 1939? It's a bit tougher than one would think. Early 1930s to mid 1940s Soviet coins can be difficult to find and most key dates are 1935 and 1942 - 1944. I've managed to assemble most of the early Soviet coins but stopped at the key dates - they have become too expensive to complete.
