A Horse Coin

I created this thread for the members to share coins and/or tokens with a horse theme; one horse, more horses, a horse ride, a chariot horse, etc...preferrably a coin in your collection, your wishlist...
I start with a coin I have It may not be a rarity, but because I am a collector who is attracted to themes rather than rarity or grade, i bought it.
Oh)) and i am not at luxury of buying expensive coins either :-/
This is 50 Dirhams from Libya 1979. I like the obverse (obviously), specially how lively the horseride is portrayed.
At the bottom is written الجماهيرية العربية الليبية الشعبية الاشتراكية!! Al gamahireyya al arabiyya al leebeyya al sha'biyya al eshterakeyya Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya.
In other words, Qaddafi's Libya

Here again I share this 10 pesos coin from Argentina 1964; a horse ride. Something made me get this coin also; the horse looks tired, lame or bored

 

Buddy there is nothing wrong with starting your own horse thread.. I am sure there are many more coins with horse images that have not been posted yet. This would be a fresh start for new images! I love the Argentina coin. Thanks for sharing.

 

This thread is of particular interest to me because my wife loves horses. Sadly, I could not entice her to collect by buying her some horse coins... Here are a the only coins with horses that I currently have photographed:

Way too many "horse coins" out there. But this is one that I find quite interesting - a 100 dinars coin from Algeria. On one side it shows a horse, the other side has the face value "100" with the 1 featuring a palm tree while the two zeros have horses again.

A coin that I actually have in my purse from time to time (I am in the euro area), is the 20 cent coin from Slovenia. That design has two Lipica or Lipizzaner horses. The way the Stars of Europe and the country name are combined appears to be a little too busy, but basically I like the design.
