No! No! No! For one thing, your computer skills are too great! I can point to many old posts to prove it.
I have an afghan's worth of crocheted flowers which say otherwise . Here are some of them, which will be sewn together into an afghan and given to a littler older lady I needed some sort of quiet minimal-thinking-required craft activity to occupy my hands during endless Skype calls with family. Browsing coins online is too difficult because I pay more attention to the coins than to the conversation, unfortunately. The recent uptick in family drama has put a serious dent in my coin time, but some lucky little old lady is going to get an awesome afghan because of it .
My wife is 24 and does knitting and occasionally crochet. It's not just an old lady thing(at least I hope not!).
Those are absolutely lovely. Just don't put plastic on your furniture and start smelling like moth balls.
Wow- very nice! Your website of your coin collection is VERY nice also! (Just followed the link to it.)
I was very sorry to hear about Fred's passing at the show. He was a regular at my local club's show. He lived about 30 miles from me.
Sorry to hear about Fred. I do wish I could get to a coin show sometime. The gem and mineral will be here soon and hopefully the guy with ancients will be there this time.
I'm flying to Victor Idaho to see it. Apparently that's a great spot with about 2 min of full eclipse.
I've never been to that show even though it’s only a short distance from me. I guess my justification is that I don’t trust myself. I’m afraid I’ll try to buy everything.
Beautiful craftsmanship, TIF! There's an annual needlework show and sale at an historic mansion (Woodlawn Plantation, Alexandria, VA) The 2017 event has already happened. I've visited the show several times over the years and never seen anything as creative as your flowers.
Fred was a friend of mine from up in Michigan and asked me to fill his spot at the show in Baltimore so I have took his spot there since the spring show. He unfortunately died the night before the june show started. He was an interesting fellow and knew Asian coinage quite well. Marcos X
