I have a lot of wheat cents just sitting in a box & a Baggie. I noticed that some are begining to turn green. If this is undesirable how do I prevent this? Do I need to separate all these coins? I don't have any coin albums, but if I need to I'll buy them. I'm not sure just what I have, but I saw 1912, 1939, 1942, 1922?, maybe 1909, those were the only ones I looked at.

    Thanx for your help,
    LEE

Trying to fill up a Whitman Folder is always fun but that won't help to store most of them. The albums only hold about 100 coins. Why don't you try storing the coins in a less arid place. If they're turning green maybe it's do to too much moisture in the air.

make sure the cents aren't in a place with too much moisture.
