I'm waiting for a very nice Severus II follis which I bought last Wednesday. It was shipped last Friday but so far has not shown up yet in the mail. What do you guys and gals do when awaiting a shipment to arrive? I'm kind of twiddling my thumbs until I get it.

Try to convince the older coins that nothing can happen and the little one will be arriving safe and sound very soon, because they all look a bit anxious :)

I wouldn't be able to collect those. I'd be redeeming them as soon as I get them!

Where is it coming from? Anything I purchase from outside of US/Canada and I'll give it at least 1.5 to 2 weeks for arrival from time of shipping.

Carausius Brother, can you spare a sestertius?

I usually spend the waiting-time entering the shipped coins into my database so that there are tags anticipating their arrival. I often research the coins and dig for provenances in my catalogue library while I'm at it.

Tracking a coin purchase is almost a hobby unto itself. Enjoy the chase!

From Manitoba, Canada. My experience from the UK has been about 10 business days so far, and I live on the west coast of the U.S.

I actually didn't get a tracking number from the seller, so I am not engaged in my usual 3x per day tracking exercise!
