Hey Guys, how many coins can you put in those 2x2 plastic coin holders? I got some
recently and it looks like I can put more than one ( cent) in each one....Now, if the
coins should hit each other, it will only be the rims touching so that should not
    be a problem, right?

I wouldn't skimp. If the coins are worth protecting with a 2x2, then they deserve their own, IMHO.

Coins can slide around quite easily in those.

Edit: PLUS, if you ever decide to put paper inserts in one side to describe the coins, you'd have half as much space since you'd have to write out info for both coins...

I use similar flips to store my coins, but only do one per flip. I put a paper insert with the coin's information in the other half. If you put more than one coin in a side they can still bump each other and mark the edges of the coin. I guess you could put one coin on each side with out too much danger of damaging the coins though.

Those don't look like SaFlips. Are they pliable? I'd be concerned that they may contain PVC.

I have put two in the same flip and then insert the flip into a square in a page in a binder. But when I do that, it is always the same type coin, same year. And then I take advantage of the opportunity and put obv of one and the rev of the other showing face up.

    Today's phrase: false economy.

Those flips "pouch out", and if you put multiple coins in one, they will end up sliding past one another. If a coin is worth putting in a flip, it's worth a flip of its own.

One exception: I have been known to stage coins through flips with one in each side, for two coins per flip. But they can't rub each other in that arrangement.
