Help Grade My 1818 Quarter

    can someone please help me grade my 1818 quarter
    and maby the browning #
    i picked it up at a coin show @2002 for $65
    i believe it has a die crack from the T in states through the beak
    and ending at the left corner of the shield
    its a bad scan, no dark blotches on obv and not as dark
    what do you think

    a nice vg maybe even a f-12

    I'd say VG, the lettering and the date are decent, some detail left in the eagle, but the other parts are obviously worn. Nice coin regardless!

    I like it as a VG-10. The reverse is pushing F-12. I don't know the Browning number off hand, but I will try to check it tomorrow at work where there is a Browning book.

    Ok, in English grading system that is a fair/F, which makes an American G/F (if you did split grading) and that would probably make it a VG-8.
