The ultimate type two buffalo nickel type coin. Sold by Heritage Rare Coin Galleries in 2003. A 1915 lf.pf69.obv.jpg lf.1915.rev.jpg Proof-69, there are no MS-69 buffs from either service. Take a look........

I hate Heritage pics. They mute the luster and reflectivity, badly. They look flat, and I'm sure that coin blinds the viewer in-hand.

Attractive coin, but nobody is going to be able to tell the difference between a PR66 and a PR69 from pictures, especially those.

Bear in mind that in 2003, if Heritage was using Nikon DSLRs, and this isn't a film scan, it was probably a D100, weighing in at $2000 and 6 MP, body only. Detector quality then wasn't anywhere near what it is now, and neither was the importance of the overall quality of their online pictures.
