I am a big trekkie! so in recent weeks i've bought some star trek TOS stuff(plus a new surround sound system) wiff my usual "spend on ancients" dollars. Vintage TOS communicator/calculator/voice recorder and IDIC metal(with gem missing, i've got a real diamond on its way to replace it) not to worry, i'm still bidding on ancients, but i'm prolly not gonna have a lot of new ones in the next week or so.. POST YOU COMMENTS AND WHATEVER PEEPS.. SCOTTY, LOCK ON TO THESE COORDINATES AND BE PREPARED TO BEAM ME UP.. ITS LIABLE TO GET ROUGH DOWN HERE..
I always love to see what other interests and passions people have...Quite a while back, I posted a thread about fossils. At the time I meant to grab a few nice things for the 'grand-kiddies' next visit and then had to buy a few things for myself----and more than just a few LOL
Well, I have an actual Star Trek coin, from Liberia (of course) 1995, issued in honor of the movie Star Trek: Generations" and featuring both Captain Kirk and Captain Picard:
i like that coin! i see the TM and (C) for CBS Corp. it's ironic they paid boku bucks for that when in the beginning they shunned Gene and the show and wouldn't give them the time of day back in 65.
I enjoy the Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations found here on these boards that make each of us unique. Cool collection @gregarious
Love it! I'm a huge Star Trek fan also...I don't collect anything related though. There is a set of silver plaquettes that depict each of the original movies. They look cool but are pricey.
For the longest time, I had a flip phone, and I would open it like a communicator. You should make your communicator have cell phone capabilities.
haha! i've got a flip fone and whenever i use it i'm in an episode i'm gonna leave this piece original . they do make a blue tooth communicator for the serious fan for about $200
i started out with a dollar item.. then $25.. then $50 and i'm now at warp speed going like where man has gone before
