    Ohh... yes. That's certainly true.

Thanks for the advice. I think I'll probably flip the 1/3 guinea. But first, I've gotta go pay for it now. LOL

It's a nice coin but I've got my gilt George III halfpenny in the set. I think I might part with my South Sea shilling, too, since I really only need one Georgian British coin in such a small collection. Those funds can be used elsewhere.

That would be one of my favorites too! A proof 1839 half sovereign is remarkable, congrats!

Again, this shows that SOME Countries still produce "beautifull" modern coins. Your 5 Sovereign has a classical design, to bad that most other Countries are producing boring modernistic designs, that I would never want to buy. Wonderfull coin!

Just heading off to work, crazy hours. I am going 14+ hrs a day/ 7 days a week and still behind. But all those hrs add up to $ to put into beautifull coins/ plus keeps one in excellent physical shape:happy: Although yesterday it was 34 cel./ humid/ no fun to be outdoors maintaining lawns/gardens:( But, I pack some cold beers in my icebox to give me a "boost" for nasty hot days.

    It's difficult to follow Panzerman's Gold 20 Shilling. :) I don't have a 1656 but can offer this 1887 little coin:

    Great Britain 1887 is next.

    Edit to add:
P.S. What happens when you post your very last coin in this thread? Do you post/shout "UNO" and win the game? :)

Opps, We both essentially posted the same 1953 USA at the same time. Let me change that to USA or Hawaii 1928.
