First, welcome to the neighborhood! By any chance, would you be related to Alana De la Garza who played the role of an ADA on Law & Order?

As for your Morgan dollar, we would need to see clear photos of both sides of the coin taken from directly overhead to determine the approximate condition of the coin.

The coin looks great in the pictures. Good strong luster, and there doesn't look to be a lot of marks on the coin. I would have someone look at it in hand, though, as grading it from these pictures is a dicey proposition at best.

That being said I'm gonna go out on a limb and say MS63. Retail value around $500. It could possibly grade higher, but we would need better pictures.

I plan on getting it to a dealer for better inspection.reason i was inquiring was because i noticed upon buying it that it was marked 300$ on the back of the holder.i thought to myself clearly this isnt a 300$ coin.i looked on ebay and some auction for the same coin in worse condition were fetching 75$.so clearly i started to get excited considering i only paid 55$ for this coin!!!thanks so much for everyones help.i will most definitely go and get this lookef at now!

take it to a few dealers and get independent grades.

    They might surprise you.

Alfredo, that's better than MS61. The dealers were trying to lowball you for it. Hey, are you still there? They were conning you.

Do you want an honest grade on it? Take it out of that 2x2 and take straight-on pics, just as you did in these pics. I guarantee, just by looking at the pics you provided in the 2x2, the consensus here is going to be at least two points higher than theirs.

I agree. It has to have pretty heavy bag marks to only grade MS61. Unless of course there is something we're not seeing.
