An interesting paper on cast bronze from Rome and Central Italy

    I re-read an interesting paper today on early Roman money by M. Molinari. It is posted on Academia.edu -

    It is in Italian, so I had to translate on line. Some of the words do not translate well:
    • As = axis
    • Quadrante = dial

    Nice article with incredible pictures! Isn't that elephant/pig aes signatum spectacular?
