Date of Japan silver 20 Sen

I`m rubbish at reading Japanese, can someone date this coin for me.
Krause says there are 3
yr 34 -1901
yr37 - 1904
yr38 - 1905

Thank you, that explains it, 1897 it was in the 19th century catalog

 

That catalog should have the Chinese number system. The numbers to look for on the front of your coin (20 Sen side) are at one O'clock. The cross = 10 and the three parallel lines =3.
