1 Cent - 1922 Weak D Mint Mark

    Hi all,
    Flea Market purchase 6-10-2017
    Got this 1922 Lincoln Wheat Cent with the weak D Mint Mark
    Sorry if pictures are not my best today
    I did not pay $60.00 for it.. I got it for $4.00

    Are you sure that it is the weak D? There is still a lot of a D there.
    It looks more like damage than a variety,

    I am not sure!
    I have only read about these 1922 Cents. I would have to open the 2x2 and examine it. I read about Die pairs and markers for these. For now I have no clue, just what the 2x2 states.

    Looks like the reverse is also slightly off center as well.

    Sometimes you even need a loupe to find the D.
