I don't collect errors but I was preparing to sell this coin and just happened to notice on the scan that it kind of looked like everything was doubled on the 2 groschen side. Is it really doubled or is that just how these coins are? I looked at another coin from the series and didn't see the same effect, but that one was more worn.
I don't think so. This is a scan and I don't have a camera that can zoom in very close. I can try but when you get too close it just won't focus.
It may be machine doubling, from what I see. There are many, many doubled dies on world coins. Very few people outside of America care about them - even incredibly significant doubling garners a shrug in much of the world.
Yeah, it doesn't do anything for me either. I'm just more interested in knowing if that's what it is.
