So I ran into this the other day and it is not listed in my red book. Is it worth anything? Thus is clearly a doubled D...right?

The correct terminology would be RPM which means Repunched Mint Mark
It has nothing to do with a Doubled Die

Oh ok thanks! Do they value these over regular wheat pennies in the collectors world? Is it considered when they are sold?

There are a number of RPMs for cents and nickels in the 40's and 50's. Some are worth money, some are interesting but do not add much of a premium. The Cherrypickers Guide is a decent place to start. I'm not an active error collector so there are probably other sources of info. Generally, they are not in the Redbook unless there is a strong collector interest.

Awesome! I served 4 years just before desert shield. Is there any other sights for value of coins that are free to download quarter or dime sites?
