    I believe you have a couple of things going, PMD, strike doubling and or die deterioration

    I don't see any strike doubling, or anything damage-wise outside simple circulation (other than the gunk), but the die deterioration is quite evident indeed.

    I agree with books, the PMD I was referring was the damage cause by circulation as that there is heavy wear. Die deterioration was evident, I was probably a little over the top when i included strike doubling as well. Though the mint Mark seemed to have some shelf like qualities
