1944-P Wheat Cent - Lamination Error? Grade?

    Is this a lamination error on the left wheat stalk on this 1944-P Wheat cent?

    There's also a polished streak mark on the top of the reverse beneath E PLURIBUS.

    I believe that's just from the die being polished. It does not go through "E".

    And, what would you grade this as?

    Here's what I think:

    MS-64+ / MS-65 RD

    The first photo made me think through-grease. The second one makes me think PMD. There's a little too much reflection around it to really make out what is going on. Can you put a loupe in front of your camera and get a close up of the stalk?

    That is indeed a greaser, I own several examples in varying degrees.
