In my opinion that is not a missing clad layer. You would see the copper core.
I have examples but will post this evening.

  7. Thanks I don't know I just have so many coins and not a lot of answers so if anyone can direct me to somewhere I'm in Omaha Nebraska to get these coins checked out I would appreciate it

  8. Thank you all so very much for your help I wish I had something useful for you to look at I mean that 57 penny has cut in the upper 5 and it looks like he has a toupee just like a flap on his forehead

  9. I'm going to upload a picture of a newer nickel think it's a 2017 but on the other side it has so much cud all the way around the rim tell me what you think about it

On your dime the first thing you need to do is determine the weight, preferably to two decimal places. If it is really missing a clad layer it will be significantly underweight. If it isn't it is most likely just environmental damage.

Cool finds Patrick ... I'm not an expert but I do know a thing or two myself from doing excess research on different coins . Infact I found the same exact kind of Dime recently and have been wondering the same question about whether or not it was missing its clad layer . And one thing is for certain if it isn't then they are very rare and you should probably hold on to it . Because mines is that way on both sides and yours and mine is the first that I've ever seen Anywhere ...

Also ... In regards to the 1972 lincoln cent it looks like a doubled die but your photos are not that good so i cant be certain and your nickel has alot extra trim which is a mint error . And as for the 1955 i can't tell what you have there either because of the poor pictures ...
