    Lovely, lovely coin, and a terrific gift.

    Roach? Pah! Not even close!

    I'm no better at judging roaches, though we live with plenty in our dilapidated trailer in rural Georgia.

    Below is an exact transcript of a text message I sent to ladymarcovan, @Aethelred, and my mother, two mornings ago. It proved to be more of a comedic hit than many of my hugely verbose and nonsensical texts do (got LOLs all around) but it also happens to have been a totally true story as told:

    I might, in fact, be the very emperor of digression.

    Yah, I have a thing about spider-webs on my face ... it seems like the webbing never goes away, no matter how many times you wipe your face! (and you never find the spider!)
