So here are all the coins I have managed to collect so far. I have been collecting ancient coins since April 2015.

You will also see my other obsessions: my favourite watch and some of my pens. For the sake of understanding the scale I will tell you that the Omega Railmaster is 49mm in diameter.

Feel free to post you own group shots of your collection (or a part of it as some would have a difficult time getting all of your coins into one photo).

Nice shot @Orfew, but I don't think I'll be taking a group photo. Too much trouble (and time) taking them out and then getting them back in the proper places.

Carausius Brother, can you spare a sestertius?

I took a similar shot last month. If I re-took it this month I'd have to add 8 more coins. LOL.

There were 37 coins there. Since then I've added two provincial Tets, a medieval Islamic, and a few ancient Chinese coins.

I love the silver solitaire. I am up to about 23 MBs at the moment. They are just as addictive as coins.

Very nice collection of pens and coins. I have a few Mont Blancs somewhere.

Here are some random Romans I took a few years ago.

Part of a hoard of Gallic coins I picked up many years ago. I still need to go through these and see what I have. I did post the Capricorn one a while back.

You collect fountain pens? Next time I'm in my office I'll take a picture of my fountain pens for this thread then.

    I have the following:

    1. Pelikan M200 Green marble (old style Pre-1997).
    2. Pelikan M200 Blue demonstrator.
    3. Conklin Word Gauge LE.
    4. Fountainbell Conid Bulkfiller.
    5. Lamy 2000
    6. Pilot Custom 92 (orange).
    7. Pilot Custom 823.
    8. TWSBI Vac Mini.

Pretty much the only thing they have in common is that they are have internal filling mechanisms. No cartridges for me. My pens drink straight from the bottle.

That's actually a small collection for me. I've only kept the pens I use regularly. Before I used to have a collection of almost 70 fountain pens, including many vintage pens from the 1910s and 1920s. But I've downsized as I left the hobby, and only kept the ones I use on a regular basis to write with.

Here is my Pilot Custom 823 which I photographed 2 months ago with the cellphone.

@Orfew that's a nice Omega Railmaster from back when Omega used to be a great value for money, before they went astronomically expensive trying to chase Rolex. I used to have Omegas, but these days I've downsized to Hamilton, Rado, and Seiko (the Japanese market watches, not the junk they sell in the US market). I'm not into expensive watches anymore, but rather decent automatic watches that I still consider good value for money.

I wish Seiko would release more watches like this in the US rather than the mall junk. They are a fine watch brand in Japan with watches in the hundreds and in the thousands of dollars that are just as fine as anything the Swiss can produce, if not more so.

*This picture is not mine, but I own this same model watch that's only available in Japan. As fine as any sub-$1,500 Swiss I've ever owned, and it was only $450.

More than the coins that comprise the pile, I enjoy coin-pile pics because of the quick glimpse they provide of the personality/collecting habits of the pile-owner. In this case, however, I will say that that looks like a marvelous selection of coins!

The 36 coins in this pile are the current residents of my coin in-box, most of them recent-ish arrivals.

And now, I'm going to have to try and put those pesky ex @Parthicus Parthians back into their correct flips :shame:...

That is a lovely Seiko! I have 2 Seiko watches both autos including the black monster dive watch. I like them very much, but I wish I had access to the Japanese models.
