A fun read. http://blog.britishmuseum.org/the-frome-hoard-and-its-impact/?cmpid=smo|mktg|tw|bm|blog|img|270517|1
You can still get copies of the book. It is inexpensive and short, at only 48 pages, so it does not take up much bookshelf space.
Very interesting reading... If I found 53,000 Roman coins I would probably have a heart attack and die. This also shows the power of having sensible antiquities laws when it comes to actually preserving ancient finds. If the UK had the typical "Everything belongs to the state!" laws we would never have known about any of this. Kudos to the finder for doing the right thing and calling in the pros to excavate and preserve this find.
