Hello community, I recently found this coin in an old box of things I had lying around and I was unfamiliar with what type of coin it was. I thought I would reach out and see if anyone could help me out. Thanks in advance.
Hi. It's Roman, circa 3rd century AD. The emperor is wearing a radiate crown. Your pictures are kind of small and uncropped, and the coin is in pretty rough shape, so it's tough to make out much detail, but if you repost it on the Ancient coin forum, I suspect you might get an attribution. It's unlikely to be worth very much money as-is, but it does look authentic.
Thank you for your post lordmarcovan. I took your advice and uploaded some better pictures in the Ancient coin forum. Here's the link if you want to view the pictures. https://www.cointalk.com/threads/i-need-help-identifying-this-coin.297370/
