Close... Sans Caffeine... And it's always been a curiosity to me that a product that goes through an extra manufacturing process is not priced higher than the same product which foregoes said extra process. I guess it's a phycological thing. Nobody will accept the perception of paying more for less
I always thought Sanka was some sort of laboratory waste material. Tang was Kool Aid that didn't make the cut.
Someone counterfeited a counterfeit! Oh no! Better call the sheriff!
Actually it's a Daniel Carr original design and if I was in the area on ebay and you created a design I would report the seller for that as well. Trademark and copyright infringement is wrong, even in the hobby of coin collecting.
That's great. I'm glad Ebay helps remove stuff like this. I love the design of this one. Really pretty.
Yep, until the next one! What gets me is why these copiers just don't make their own design? Sure, I know it's easier to copy a coin design that already exists, but it can't be that hard to change a few things.
If you get bored some day, spend some time reading about how Asian cultures regard copying versus how we in the west view it. They genuinely see nothing wrong with it. I once read that the Chinese had so completely copied the DC-3/C-47 airplane that virtually all parts were interchangeable. (Side note: knockoff Chinese parts are responsible for why so many DC-3's still fly.)
I didn't realize it was one of his originals (I didn't actually click on the link). In that case, I agree that someone copying it isn't right. But I do still find it ironic.
