Hello Everyone, I search silver so my knowledge in this area is ZERO! Found this Kennedy in my recent searches. The coins features are smooth and has a ghost appearance. There are abrasions which I guess are due to circulation, but I guess it could be post mint damage. There is a lip to the edge. Just curious what everyone thinks or wants to offer their opinion. I just don't have he knowledge to access. All the pictures on online of die adjustment vary, with some Washington quarters having a similar appearance. Thoughts?
I've never seen one with that much loss of detail on both sides. Perhaps @Fred Weinberg would know something about it. Chris
It looks like it took an acid bath. I think a die adjustment would have sharper fields with mushy high points
Im gonna say no. Die adjustment strikes will still have a sharp rim. I dont think im seeing a sharp rim in your photos.
